Pistons and Piston Rods

Armco Compressor manufactures a full line of replacement pistons and piston rods. All pistons and rods are manufactured to exacting specifications and undergo FEA Analysis to insure the integrity of the parts supplied. Pistons are manufactured as 1pc. hollow cast or 2 and 3 pc. segmental design, depending on the compressor and are machined from Cast Aluminum, Cast Iron, or Steel. Piston rods are machined from solid bar stock using Steel or Stainless Steel with rolled threads or cut threads, depending on the specifications of the compressor. Pistons and piston rods can be treated with various coatings to add hardness, lubricity and to prevent corrosion/oxidation.
